xvid 2cd

Hi,
Last night I encoded jerry maquire 25fps interlaced pal to xivd (latest stable)
and I have few problems:
1.) Projection is pretty good but I can still feel that it is in some scenes blurred.
2.) I used deinterlace filter but when is scene changing I can still see interlaced pictures.
Som info about encoding:
- Latest stable Xvid
- virtualdubmod 1.4.13
- movie was going for 2CD (2:08:16) so I used for 1st pass quantization type MPEG and for 2nd pass new modulated HQ. Other settings was same as in the guide :)

For help with deinterlacing you should visit the Avisynth and/or VirtualDub forum. Don't forget to let everybody know which deinterlacer you use and what settings. And perhaps it would be a good idea to read all threads (especially FAQs) that could help you beforehand!

Maybe all that blurring comes from unnecessary deinterlacing?
Maybe you used h263 instead of Mpeg or Mpeg custom?
Maybe Bush will do the right thing and forget about Iraq?

this is just a bum-rip, there ain't no such artifacts on the disc

Well, I think that I found the problem. First that was some corrupted dvd2avi project on wich I used deinterlace :( The new version is really good but next time I'll propably use as Q. type H.263
