I need to create dummy audio tracks and files in order to use them in scenarist.

How can I do ?
somebody suggested to use beslicer but after using it, I can not import the dummy file in scenarist (error message: unsupported format although it is an ac3 file)

Thanks for any help

For dummy audio tracks i use Cool Edit Pro 2 for recording and Sonic Foundry Soft Encode for encoding.

I record a few seconds (doesn't need to be the lenght of the video you are goin to use it for) with Cool Edit. Because I've nothing connected to any line-in of my soundcard, the recorded file will be blank.

After that I encode it with Soft Encode at the desired bitrate, voila, dummy file sucessfully created. :)

EDIT:

Forgot. The recorded file doesn't need to have the lenght of the video, if you use UOP for blocking the audio change button on remote or if you disable the availablity of the dummy track!
