what are best dvd-r for pioneer 105 i have used superior g4 2x which seem ok a couple of freezes , ihave used bulkpaq (purple) absolutely crap about 10 out of 25 are ok the rest just froze and skipped and have noticed after they have been burned there are little spots .
i am using nero 5.5.10 , dvd decrypter and ifo edit on xp and burning straight into the video ts folder on nero , is this the best way to do this ?

Nope.

Try this, use the "disc image" button in info edit to create a .img file of you video_ts folder.

Write the .img file with dvd decrypter, or primo dvd.

In relation to what media is best for the a05. Well you can't go wrong with the likes on pioneer, taiyo yusen or maxell, but it'll cost you.
