Hi !
x2real beta is a new easy step by step DVD to RV9 software
Tested under W2000/XP
I'm looking for new translation files (x2real\bin\resources) coz only English and French are currently available.

Well, couldn't test it beacause the resize and cropping window just didn't work. There is no slider to skip video and if my first frame is totally black in video there is no way I can guess the right values and auto-crop doesn't work then neither. Somehow that cropping window seems to be buggy anyway.
I am using Win XP and I made d2v project from my little test vob (Simpson THX file 33sec).

Well, there IS a slider bar in both crop and resize setup.
I'm using also using XP and W2000.
Here is a snapshot of cropping setup :

Note that you can have problem if you screen resolution is under 1024x768 coz you won't be ableto see everything.
If cropping window stay black even after moving the slider, then update your DirectShow filters with the latest Eclipse-DVD DirectShow Pack.

thx for trying x2real++
PS:
Next release will include filters such as Deinterlace and IVTC, AVI files input and some others stuff/bug fixes.

hi there,
Hmm, I have the same problem. The first frame is all black, and there is no slider visible in the crop dialog box. I tried both at 1280x960 and 1600x1200. It seems the window is not tall enough to display everything. Also, it is not possible to enter numbers manually in the boxes, one has to use the buttons.
Other than that it seems like a nice and convenient wizard-like tool. There are no user choices to worry about, but at the same time less flexible for the advanced encoder, who in most cases would like to adjust filters, max bitrate etc, and maybe even edit command line parameters.

Well it's quite strange.. could u post a full snapshot of the crop window ?
Did u try to install DirectShow Pack from Eclipse-DVD ?
Standard and custom filters will be added soon for advanced users.

Thanks for your quick reply. I have all the necessary filters installed, so that should not be a problem. I tried to attach a .png to my last post, but that did not seem to work. Trying a .jpg now.

That screenshot of karl is just the same thing I mentioned. There is nothing you can do on that screen.
I also have all the filters you ever need (and just them) and have encoded with almost every other tool out there and also with dark-angel's fantastic Autorv1.2 tool.
I use Windows XP (no service pack)
DirectX 8.1 (and NOT going to install buggy 9..)
Avisynth 2.0.7.0
winmm.dll (5.1.2600.0 seems to be one that came with XP), what is it? :)

Now the cropping window and slider works ok and no problems with cropping anymore.
The slider in the 'final preview' -window doesn't work, but that's not a big issue since you can skip the picture with those search buttons.
If I have delay value in audio, I couldn't input it anywhere? Is my final audio going to be out of synch then? I did such a short test-clip that I couldn't notice it still.
Also Dub-progress -window is little bit buggy with graphics but does otherwise work very good.
Best thing about this program is definetely that you can put jobs in queue and edit your avs-script. This tool definetely comes in handy when you are encoding tv-series like me and you can convert more episodes on one night.
Also I guess you can put your own resize values to the avs -script put would have been nice to edit them in that tool also.
But anyway..since you dont have to put in any audio profiles ym this is definetely one automated -tool :)
However, that audio delay must be somehow be fixed if it exist. And If you put 12 episodes in queue and there isn't any chance to delete temp wav -files it may hurt my little HD :)
