How do you correctly get rid of those "intros" on DVD's?

I've had this problem many times in the past, and ended up with useless DVD-R's..i'm pretty sure this problem has been fixed by now (with the Delete Playback feature in IFOEdit), but i'm not entirely sure as to how to go about using it.

For instance, i'm working on Lilo & Stitch right now..the movie's pretty small, but i'll remove the French/Spanish soundtracks as they are useless to me and i want to fit as much of the extras as possible.

The problem is this: there's that stupid intro video that's 800mb or something, and I don't want that. How would I go about getting rid of that? I don't think simply deleting the VOB and correcting sectors would yield me a useable DVD..

Well, you're at least thinking on the right track, Civic! It's never a good idea to just delete things out because the results are inconsistent. When recreating your DVD structure, recreate that VTS as you normally would any other. However, just use a very short and blank video segment. This enables you to effectively eliminate something unnecessary without changing the structure of the DVD's layout. For more information, go to the "Tips and Tricks" section of my guide site.
