importing mpeg-stream from vob without encoding

Hi,
I want to take a video-stream directly from the Vobs and import it into Maestro without encoding it because it`s small enough. So what I`ve tried till now is 1. just ripped the video-stream with SmartRipper and 2. stripped out everthing unused with IfoEdit. Then renamed to m2v, mpg, mpv and so on. But none of these two methods work. Maestro gives me a "media not supported error".
Does anybody know on how this might work?

Try using VobEdit to demux the videostream from the VOB's.

You could also demux directly, through SmartRipper or DVD Decrypter
