when you are creating a dvd (a backup of a copyrighted material) image in maestro, do you need to readd the copyright to the file? (there are options for it, i didnt know if some standalones will reject it if it is not there)

It won't make a difference either way. It's just a bit that says whether it's copyrighted or not. It won't affect playback.
