Hello

I am new here, and I searched for some answers to my questions, but there is none. So, I permit myself to ask you all for help:
I bought Davideo2 Pro and I tried it. There is nothing to say about the image quality, but there is one problem:
When I am doing the test of the film, all is well, but when I convert the film, I wait 5-6 hours ( that's normal) to get 2 diffrent files
one file in avi, the film; and one file in wav, the sound. Great! I have the film without sound and the sound without the film.
Now, I think that Davideo does not make the synchronisation when the files are too important. i don't know why this won't work.
Does anyone of you have the same problem? Or does anyone know how to put he two files in one to have a good film - perhaps with another programm.
What a waste to spend nearly 60$ for getting this!

Hi,
you can try Dvdmaestro, SpruceUp, Scenarist or Ifoedit 0.95 to join a audio and video files together.

And for AVI's the choise is simple, VirtualDubMod.

IfoEdit & VirtualDubMod are freeware, and the rest is stuff you have to pay for.
IfoEdit is available from Doom9's download page (link) (http://www.dom9.org) and VirtualDubMod can be found at Sourceforge.net (link) (https://sourceforge.net/projects/virtualdubmod) Don't forget the files marked 'Also needed to run VirtualDubMod', as well as the latest bugfix.

Hi guys,

thanks again for your tremendous help.
I found another programm which does the same thing as Davideo, but it is working correctly and IT IS FREEWARE: DVDx.
I did my first rip and even it is not perfect, there is image and sound. I think I have to "play" a little with the settings....
