Hi!

i've reencoded about 200 movies now, but i'm currently trying to reencode Futurama Season one Pal ... and every time i try to mux a specific Episode with Scenarists i get a buffer underflow....

i just tried going down with the max-bitrate of the mpeg to about 7.800 mps in cce but it didn't work either!

I'm using cce 2.50 and never have had this problems! is there a problem in cce with interlaced material and the maximum bitrate i've never ran into ??

I have attempted futurama as well, are you using avisynth with the decomb .dll.I recommend you do to save you wasting your time.Any re-encoding results in combing. If you are using the aforementioned I apologise, just trying to save you the grief I have had with it.I didn't have any probs except for the combing, scenarist gave no errors.I'm now trying to get a working version of avisynth that works with the decomb.dll so i can try the method out.

i have encoded with a maximum bitrate of 9000 ... + 2 audio-tracks (2*192 kbs) makes 9384 in sum... so where is his problem ??? where i can't understand it ...

Thanks for ur help!

If you have encoded at 9000 max bitrate that is your problem scenarist will not accept that high a bitrate.
I noticed on your first post you were at 7800 bitrate with same errors.
I got it to work no probs at min 0(you can have a larger min such as 500 if needed) and max 4000.I was obviously attempting a 1:1 conversion with this disc.I did one episode as you are attempting with the afoementioned setting and no probs at all(except for the combing).
You should easily be able to use 6000 as a max,run it through bitrate viewer if you haven't done already.if the max bitrate shown in there is lower than 7800 that'll give you your expanation.
I assume by having a max bitrate of 9000 you are trying to bulk out the episode.
Try 6000 I can't see you'll have any probs if you set that as your max and 0 as min(what min did you have initially?)
Add up your sum for the total bitrate and keep to less than 8000 ideally around the 7500 or less.
your first readings(7800 max+audio streams) would also have taken you over 8000 which with scenarist is hit and miss.

hmm... i just did my reencodes believing, that a bitrate (video+audio) has to be under 9800 kbps in order to be dvd-compilant, and nothing went wrong till now! okay i'll do a reeconde with this lower bitrates, maybe it helps .. thank u again

worked now ... but i can't really get, why this only worked , with a bitrate of 6900 and even one episode had to be encoded at 6700 !! but it worked
thanks!

I'm glad to be able to help,I've had alot of help here from people ,least I can do is help where I can.I think because it is animation the bitrate has to be lower, don't matter anyway you've got it sorted.
