ok this vbr crap is killing me i have no problems with any other audio but vbr!when i make my svcds i like to use my own method with is this

1.split the avi using vdub into 2 parts using the select start and end method getting the begining and end credits of the movie out to save space and time and reducing the movie to be burnt to 2 disc instead of 3 also i set the audio and video to direct stream [np unless its vbr audio]

2.i convert my 2 parts to svcd with tmpenc

3.burn it!

now heres the problem i cant do this when its got vbr the audio and video dont match up

now this is where i need help? what program can i use to convert the vbr to a stadard audio and save it as a avi still with the video and audio timing correct so that when i load it into vdub i dont get that vbr error? then i can cut my movie the way i plz using direct stream video and audio...

plz help

vbr audio will not work with vcd/svcd, at least not for almost every dvd player.
get the original avi and extract in .wav then encode it to mp2.

If his player dose not support the vbr audio, nothing(even more explainations) can help him.
P.S.: I've added more comments on that thread.
