I am trying to convert two AVI files of one of the recent movies onto DVD. (XviD and AC3 codecs installed)
I tried to use TMPGEnc, but it either failed on me with the error message, hang or created 4:3 video, where it's supposed to be 16:9.
Here is the info of my AVIs:
File Name: (--some movie--).avi
File Format: Audio-Video Interleaved (AVI)
Author: Microsoft Corporation
Web Site: www.microsoft.com
Content: Video and Audio
Duration: 1 hr 10 min 6 sec
Data Rate: 1396 kbps (ave)
Video Info: 624 x 336, 23.976 fps
Audio Info: 48000 Hz, 448.0 kbps, stereo
Video Format: unknown
FourCC: "xvid"
This may be a new or proprietary format.
Check http://www.webartz.com/fourcc/fcccodec.htm for the FourCC code.
Audio Format: DVM
Format ID: 0x2000
Author: (---)
Can anybody give suggestions of how to set TMPGEnc parameters:
1. What should I choose in the Wizard: "DVD/NTSC" or "DVD/NTSC (16:9)"
2. In "Expert Setting for Source":
- "Video type": Non-interlace or Interlace
- "Aspect ratio": ???
- "Content of video": Film movie or Video movie
I hope that all the information about the .AVI file will help!
