Hi there,

is there a quick way to enlarge 704 pixel wide video to 720 by just adding 8 black lines left and right without transcoding? I author a lot of dvb-based material that comes in that resolution which my standalone doesnt like to play.
I know that avisynth in conjunction with CCE can do that but that`s a complete transcode and takes too long. The video is perfect quality and of adequate size for dvdr so I donīt mind having a tiny black bar to the left and right.
Any ideas? Sounds like a simple problem but I donīt know of a tool!

Please help

That's weird because 704x is a valid DVD resolution and standalones are required to play it. There is no way to physically change the resolution without transcoding. You might be able to patch the header to trick your standalone.

Have you tried DVDPatcher?
