unwanted resizing

I am trying to re-encode an svcd but am running into problems.
480x480 svcd - dvd2avi - cce resulting file comes out at 720x480.
What am i doing wrong ? i thought cce just encoded at the same size as source ?

If you have "DVD Compliant" checked in the CCE encoding parameters, make sure you uncheck it. Having it checked causes the frame size to be 720x480, regardless of source.
