Ifoupdate Question

When using ifoupdate. Which ifo is updated? The original untouched off the dvd or the authored file?

The original from the DVD gets modified. But it gets backed up before modifications to the directory/name shown in the backup path. Be careful, though, because if you do a second run without restoring from the backup -- your original is gone.

I usually save all the IFO/BUP files in another directory before I run IFOUPDATE so I can always recover. They are very small files.
