I watch divx videos with dolby digital sound using Intervideo's audio codec by passing SPDIF to my home theater reciever. It works great in BSPlayer and others, and are the settings are right. However, I cnt figure out how to get this to work in WMP9. It plays the sound in dolby pro logic 2.

Anyone know how to get this working?

By default, Intervideo filter don't use SPDIF output, you'll have to set your filter when your divx is playing ( Use MPC, it's the best media player ).

Thanks for the reply

Its set to spdif out by default in all my other players though. When I use them I dont have to change any settings. If is set it to spdif in another player, wont it apply to wmp.

Also, could i edit the registry so it will default to spdif?

BTW: I know wmp9 isnt the best media player, but I have reasons I want to use it.

Any reason why your not using AC3filter? It's much easier to setup and configure than Intervideo not to mention all the nice features.
