Avsynth frameserving problem

When ever i try to frame serve it does not close the mepg at tyhe end and giver a report of invalid handle while it does not do that when puttinng the Avi stright in cce...any thoughts...
I kept it simple with the following code in the script:
AVIFileSource("c:\xxx.Avi")


Quick reply would be appreciated...

o.k. cce 2.64 with avsynth 2.07 works
seems adding AssumeFPS in avsynth causes this problem
