Hey Guys,
I've had a DVD writer (Sony DRU-500a) for a couple of months now and I think I'm getting my head round the encoding process. However, I have a question:
I edit my videos using Avid Xpress DV. I have tried exporting them as .MOVs and encoded them in TMPGEnc but wasn't really that impressed with the results. I then tried encoding using MYDVD which, I have to say, is quite impressive. Not only is the encoding quality quite good but it's bloody quick! However, if I use MYDVD I have to lay off my Avid movie onto a MiniDV tape and capture via MyDvd. My main problem is that MYDvd encodes audio as an MP2 and even if I export my audio direct from Avid to DVDMaestro, it's always out of sync.
Can anyone help me with the sync problem? Or, can anyone suggest some good settings for TMPGEnc?
Thx!
Ajay
