Hello all. I received some Generic 1x media from Americal.com today and wanted to give 'em a go. I did an ISO read then write using DVDdecrypter, one also burned using Gear pro 6(newest)(movie is Powerpuff Girls DVD5). I have a Lite-on 165h, pioneer a05 (firm 1.21), winxp. Set top is samsung dvd-612. Unfortunately, not only will any software player or my samsung not read the burned dvd's, decrypter won't re-read them (can see the files in Explorer). FYI, the freebie pioneer dvd-r that came with the player worked perfectly with the ISO method. I guess my question is , is there anything stupid I may have overlooked, or are these blanks just crap? I've wasted three of them already. I apologize in advance if this question is too basic for this community.(I have read the guides and searched the forum)
