I think where wouldn't be any freeware encoders in the future, because they don't release any sheet about how dts works in encoding. The only thing would be to decompile f.ex. surcode cdpro dts, using a software debugger. The problem is that this is illegal.

But I have another question:
Is it possible to take a source dts file and just sample the thing to a 44.1 khz wave file, burnable on a cdaudio?
I think this way it could be easier.
