Encoding time?

I have a general question. When I encode Lord of the Rings it takes me about 11 hours with CCE (2.62) and 13 hours and 30 minutes with Rempeg. I have a P4 1.9 Ghz, 512 DDR and I am running XP. Could someone tell me what the speed is they get and maybe give some tips to increase the speed.

Hi-

It kind of depends on how many passes you're doing, if you're encoding for SVCD or DVD, what kind of source you're using (DVD or .avi) and the .avs you're using (if any). You start putting on filters, then things slow down. So, there's no way to tell from the (little) information you've provided if your times are normal.
