hi,
I thoroughly hate my lifeview flyvideo 3000 tv tuner (it has shithouse driver and technical support) and the only thing i can use with it is the supplied software. I've had enough of trying to get around it so i'm taking some old advice; get a new card!
I've rounded it down to 3 cards:
Prolink Pixelview PV-BT878P+ $130.00aud this card seemed to have bad support in the likes of how the site is badly planned and seems more like the lifeview site but it has the bt878 chipset and captures in mpg2
Pinnacle PCTV $120aud so far i like everything about this card the site the features. Has bt878 chipset as well and captures in mpg2.
Leadtek TV2000 XP Deluxe $115.00aud i very much like the sound of this card it claims it can even capture in mpg4 but i don't know what the chipset is.
The main things that count when i'm buying the card is it has to b able to capture in mpg2 and i need to b able to use 3rd party software with the card i don't wanna b stuck like i am with my flyvideo 3000.
