View Full Version : Using TMPGEnc to crop the video

I know how to use TMPGEnc to crop off the top/bottom edge of the video to remove the "trash" when doing an encoding job.

The problem is, I already have M2V and MP2 streams that I will use, however, I want to crop the "trash" off of them. Is there a way to do this without doing a full re-encode?

any sort of "workaround" or other options?

Nope, it needs to be re-encoded cropped. Sorry.

You won't believe it, but this has been discussed many times. Please use the search button.

I appologize.

I had/have tried performing separate searches for "crop" "trim" and "clip frame" in the TMPG area, but I didn't come up with any usefull results, which is why I asked the question...
