Distorted menu background picture in DVDMaestro

I'm sitting here and try to author some video clips with just a still menu to select them.

First play is set to Menu1, its buttons are set to the clips.

The menu consists of the subpicture and the background picture, no animation, no sound. The background is self-made stony texture.

If I start the DVD-structure first time, all is fine, the menu starts automatically. but when I start any o the video clips and return to the menu (functions correctly set in Maestro), the background picture looks extremely distorted, weird colors, looks like the photoshop filter "add noise" with pretty high values.

I then have to start a video clip several times and switch back to the menu, until it's correct again.


What to do? :confused:

Well, seems that DVDMaestro has problems with textures in the border zone. If I make a 7px black border around the textured menu, the distortion effect disappears. Also does it when I make a Gaussian Blur on the texture in 7px border zone instead of black color. Weird...
