NE1 know where i can find the Gunnar Thalin De-interlace PAL movie v1.1 filter for avisynth? it is available for virtualdub as a plugin.

AFAIK it hasn't been converted to YUY2/YV12, and is therefor not available as a native AviSynth plugin. (Yet.) His SmoothDeinterlacer though has been converted to AviSynth though and should be available through Gunnars home page. A good alternative is Don Graft's decomb: Telecide(guide=2,post=false) (Don't decimate!) should be quite equivalent of GT's PAL deinterlacer.

im specifically looking for the Swap Fields First feature in the PAL deinterlacer by gunnar

i need to use this to perfectly deinterlace PAL vobs that are out of sync

In that case, try decomb and when you make the D2V, use 'Video->Field Operation->Swap Field Order'

Or just put SwapFields() ahead of the Telecide() call.
