I have tried to cobble together the software to make things happen...the last piece is Maestro v 2.9. Loading this on W98se, I get 2 error messages..."This application or DLL cannot be loaded on Windows 95 or on Windows 3.1. It takes advatage of unicode features only available on Windows NT"
After clicking OK, I get the message: "The MFC42U.DLL file cannot start. Check the file to determine the problem."
I'm totally stumped on how to make things click. The vendor says I need a windows update, but can't seem to find anything.
Does anyone have any constructive thoughts?
Thanks in advance! (Hope this is in the right spot) :scared:

the vender is right.
to run maestro to its full ability you need the ntfs filing system and 98se doesnt support that.

Thanks thing for the info...I guess I was hoping upon hope that Maestro works, especially since the software requirements list w98 on up....Any suggestions for good replacement for this?

Thingimijig-
Yea, I'm looking for all my ducks to line up...I've done tons of forum reading, websites, research out the ying yang...I like Cretin's guide, But Rempeg wouldn't cough up the cffl file, even changing the extension to cffl from txt...and I've tried other guides, but always have trouble pulling chapters and getting to home...(dvd-rw) I've stripped and stripped til my hardrive is ready to blow...
I'm a not a lazy bas, just looking for something between dvd decrypter to ifoedit to nero that will work with w98 se....
I foolishly thought spruce maestro would be the ticket...(how can they advertise it as working with w98?? I don't get that)...oh well.
Thanks for letting me vent!

A long time ago Maestro did work with 98SE, but the current one is NT/2K only.
