I posted a thread to the video capture (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=42281) forum about troubles I am having getting my captures of Farscape back to it's original film frame rate. Long story short, I capture at 640x480 @ 29.97fps from an NTSC digi-cable source, and I can't seem to figure out how to properly deinterlance and decimate this show.

I have tried various itterations of Decomb's functions, and TomsMoComp, but it just doesn't come out smoothly like my other captures from different stations like FOX or ABC. I have posted a sample of the capture on my site. It's about 34megs. I would appreciate it if someone could take a look at it and see what you can do. I'm pretty much at a loss right now. All I can think to do is run decomb's telecide and leave the frame rate alone, although I'd rather not...

Your source has the dreaded blended fields. I don't know how you can do better than this:

Telecide(blend=true)
Decimate()
