Play language movie

Hello,

I have ripped a movie (zone 2) which contains 2 languages (US and FRENCH).
My problem is that I would want via ifoedit (if it is possible) launch by default the audio FRENCH because every time has he throws me the movie in US about my reader of lounge or in Ifoedit.
If somebody know the parameter to be modified in Ifoedit to force an audio track of its choice to the starting.

If I understand you correctly, English is currently your default audio but you want French to be the default.

This should work for you.

Using IFOedit, go into your main movie titleset IFO. Assuming your main movie is in VTS_01_*.vobs then using IFOedit, navigate to Vts_01_0.ifo/VTS_PGCITI/VTS_PGC_1

You should see this in VTS_PGC_1.

The value of 32768 means its your first and default audio.
33024 is second.
33280 if you had a third
33536 if you had a fourth

Swap the values of your audio streams.

Save IFO and test.

Now, there are cases in which you would have more than one PGCs in VTS_PGCITI. Just look in the audio section to find which one you want to work on. Most of the time, it's in PGC 1

Reply back if it works or doesn't.
If it doesn't, I may have another step for you to do.

2 anothers references : VTS_PGC6 and VTS_PGC13 the same modification.

After this modifications, i have only the English language, because the ID audio English is 80 and 81 :(

The other solution are welcome.

What do the original DVDs do in your player? Have you set the language preference for audio in the player?

Sorry for the delay .....
The movie is Matrix
The Player is a Pioneer DV 444
I don't have the remote controle and the player are programmed in English version, the first language by default is English.

I want only modified the language by default in French in the dvd-r.
