Creating new IFO`s

I did movie only with infoedit 095 for reign of fire.

The file is too big for one DVD so I eliminated part of the begining vob with vobspl26 and removed the credits from the last vob.

Now the movie will fit on one dvd.

Problem?
can you create new IFO files

Any help will be appreciated

If you have wound up with standard vob files you can use ifoedit to create new ifo files.

Do not open an ifo file! Select [create ifo], then follow the prompts and it will create new ifo's but for only for the movie.

I removed some of vob_1 and its not a standard size its 966,103.040

I was hoping their was another way to do it.

I keep getting an error with power DVD.

The movie only is 4.69G so close

Any other ideas

Have you stripped any streams (foreign languages - subtitles ?)

Failing that, use Smartripper (movie mode) and don't rip the last chapter, it's usually just the credits (but check to make sure) you don't want to miss the ending.

try this:

load the respective ifo file for the main movie into ifoedit and select vob extras. check "rebuild pts", "remove vob id" and "correct original ifo's".
when you get to the vob id choice you keep simply all id's you see. Ifoedit then makes a complete set of vob's with the right size and hopefully you get a movie that works.
I tried this method with vobsplit26. i removed the end of a vob-file and the method worked. i can't see how you removed the beginning of a vob file with vobsplit26 because i tried this and ended up with a vob without a vob-id that is playable(i checked with vobrator). maybe i don't understand vobsplit good enough. ;)
you can also cut the beginning of a vob with dvd2avi but i didn't try that out.
