I used the dvd2avi to extract DTS track out of the resident evil movie and converted all the video files to .m2v however when i tried to authouring it by using Spruce Dvd Maestro..then i had problem locating the .dts file on the audio track !! So does anyone can kindly tell me what I can do to load or convert Dts track into something that i can use in that program ?? By the way, i did try to extract the second audio track of that movie as it was ac3 track and then loaded on the first track of Spruce Dvd program instead of Dts track but when i burned it ..I sadly got no sound on my movie ..its quite lengthy question but Please help educate sucker like me!!

resident evil is a dvd5
just a straight ripp and burn

no need to re author with maestro and you will be able to keep the dts audio no probs

ripp with dvd decrypter and then burn all back to disc with whatever dvd burning software you have ;)
