Is it possible to put the VOB files individually in the DVD2AVI n then encode them individually??
After encoding can the individual avi's be joined together??


While doin a second pass for (Matrix) virtual dub crashed!

Any suggestions?

Yes, it's possible if the vobs are cleanly cut at keyframes. Using 'Split by Cell ID' (or chapter, or something similar, depends on what ripper you use) will most of the time give you useful inputs in this case. Still, this way of encoding is not optimal, and you might not get best possible results from doing encodes that way, unless you are doing single-pass constant quality rips.
