anyone tell me how can i fix a subtitle going out of sync when playing the matrix????? it's about 1 to 2 seconds fast. Can anyone tell me how to correct this using subrip 1.14? thanks
Does subtitles have to match the chapters speed? What speed does the chapter have to be with ntsc and speed for subtitles. as i know video is progressive 29.970 fps...do i need the subtitles to be 29.970 like the video and chapters please help me so i can understand

try the subtitleworkshop, if it is just 1, 2 secs
it can set a delay of 1 or 2 secs...

thanks! i am trying it now i am on number 932 out of 1,800 something i am using the close caption instead of the subtitles. I saw a lot of messed up times in the matrix subtitle and close caption ... i think that's why mastero saying it's overlapping.. which mean the time is doing it... so i am carefully corecting the time by pausing and playing and pausing and playing to get the right time! man i hope one day it will we can rip the subtitles or captions and have a program that will play the actual movie from dvd or ripped from vob and rip the subs or captions and run a program that will capture the words and correct the time in that special kind of program! i wish someone could program that heh that would save a lot of trying to delay time from 1 to 2 sec each time. thanks again!!!!

You really should say what you need help with in your tittle.
If you post here it's obvious you need help. What isn't obvious is what the problem is. Many will just glance over your post because time is tight and they are not sure if they can help.

arky your opinion but however I have a problem and I've tried many titles and no response... So I went with this title so people can open it up and see.... it's an eye catcher and obviously someone did help... before you matter of fact 2 did before you and helped me than to complain....why complain when their is nothing better coming out of it when you could help like other generous people have done...i think complaining doesn't do anything and it is after all a dvd authoring forum not a complaining forum.

You can't. You are forever connected to this post. (In my most evil movie voice) MUHUHUHUHUHU. ;)
You can say Please help me, just add add with what is all. Consider two months from now when someone else has the same problem you do and they do a search. Would you bother to see if this post had the answer you seek? I wouldn't as the search engine isn't perfect and has many misses as well as hits in the results.
