I've purchased NEW Memorex CDRW's and when I put one in my PLEXTOR 16.10.40 and try to load ANY file, soon as I press the WRITE CD button I get THIS message:
Could not perform fixation.
Burn process failed @ 4X.

I Also failed @ 2X.

All replies are appreciated.

You have chosen the wrong forum for this. Get latest firm and post at the right place in the future. Try Hi-Speed CDRW
