Progressive, and interlaced source to CCE

I've used DVD2AVI to create a D2V file, however, I noticed in the preview that the first movie producer logo shows as interlaced, and the main movie appears to then use progressive.

Do I have to do anything special in CCE? I've done a small test encode and it displays fine using WinDVD -- is that necessarily going to also be true for a standalone (I don't have one to hand so I can't burn and check).

Alternatively, should I just clip out the movie producer's logo in DVD2AVI using the boundaries (square brackets)?

If the logo is static, or even low motion, then encoding it as a progressive stream will hardly be noticeable. But then, why even bother? Just "square bracket" the thing out (unless you really want it). If you really want to get technical, break the two apart and encode separately, one progressive and one interlaced.

i would just do what your doing..i have noticed the same thing and as i recal i havent had any problems..if u want u can use vobedit i believe or the program that anaylyzes the vobs its on doom9..then u find out what vob ids to strip and u could strip the logo..its up to u but u wont have any problems with what you are doing now so i wouldnt worry about it buddy..
