Ive managed to rip the dvd compress the video and then reapply the audio. The only problem being that the audio for the english track has an ID of 81 where as when I remux audio/video it rewrites to ID 80. This leads to playing back the video but no sound when I select the English version or the full Audio/video when I select the German version.
I do not want to keep the language selection part of Vob o1 but I cannot get it to run if I remove that part, it issuses a warning of no audio found.
Is there a programme where I can change the audio in the completed vobs to ID 81 without manually having to change them?
The programmes I use are IFOedit, Vob edit, Rempeg2....
Please help as this is driving me mad....
Cheers all

Im not too sure exactly what you want here as a final output but it sounds like you could use a authouring package like Maestro. import the vid and audio then compile...this would give you the vobs and new ifos.

Ive sorted the problem I con the remux programme to put the english lang in on ID81 buy ripping the first three languages out, compressing the m2v file, then remuxing the audio video streams. with the use of ifo.edit i then remove the unwanted sound track! long way round but it leaves the english stream on the right ID.

Cheers for your help and I hope this makes sense to others having the same problem, if not post and I will explain further.
