I've been working with Trilights MultiPGC guide and trying to get the movie Signs re-encoded. The VTS_07 titleset includes the extras which I have been trying to re encode but I have run into something that is strange - at least to me. DVD Decryptor reports the 2 VOB files in the VTS7 set as 1.8 GB total. Yet, when DoitFast4U runs and creates an M2V file from each PGC in the VTS7 set, I get 3.5 GB worth of M2V's between the 7 PGC's. How can this be?

from my understanding of using Eyes great prog is that it makes m2vs..u dont need vobs after DoItFast4U runs..just merely drop the avs files into CCE, it will use the m2vs and reencode those instead..This said are u selecting the right VTS set from DoItFast?? there is a pulldown menu where u choose which VTS set it is doing..possibly u have it set for the wrong one..maybe not but get back to us..later

Yeah, I have chosen VTS 7 and the corresponding PGC's 1-7. From there I have chosen to add decomb to the avisynth scripts ONLY. At that point, I choose Doitnow!
Anyway, the M2V files that Doitfast4u puts out into the directory for each of the 7 PGC files add up to a total of 3.45 GB. This is just the M2V files!
As I said in the earlier post, the VTS7 (which has 2 VOB files in it) shows as being only 1.8 GB in File mode in DVD Decryptor. I am just wondering how you can get 3.45 GB worth of M2V files out of 2 VOB's that supposedly are only 1.8 GB in total size?

i would just encode it and see what happens..i doubt anything is wrong i hvaent had any problems with the prog..reencode it with CCE or whatever you're doing and see what happens ..if u get problems u are more than welcome to ask questions..

some of the PGC's may have the video duplicated, so check what is what ;)
