Can somebody help me out? I want to fit 60 minutes onto a 80minute cd-r. I am using ATI AIW 8500, MMC 7.7.0.1, Capturing with the Super Video cd setting under custom. Can I use VBR on SVCD? I am also using vcdeasy 1.1.3, and want to be able to create and use a menu. I looked through the guides but found nothing. Any help would be great...

For best quality you should capture the source in DVD resolution/bitrate and than re-encode it with div. filters.
The apture files are nothing else mpeg2 video streams + PCM/mp2 audio streams. SO just follow the guides of doom9 or the guides on www.vcdhelp.com for DVD -> SVCD conversion. Instead of VOB files use your DVB-mpg files. Notice: the source files are interlaced.
