I have some questions about the encoders, CCE and TMPGenc.

1. CCE works fine, but what does the Image Quality Priroryty means? Shall it be a high or a low number?

2. TMPGenc is weird sometimes, because it makes a "testfile" first and then TMPEnc repeats the testfile and never start to encode the real file.

3. Wich one gives best quality?

4. I can't use "AVI2SVCD" when I load the movie and start to encode it I just get a 10 sec movie with a text who says "Too many arguments to function AVIsource"

Peace:cool:

This are quite basic questions and could have been answered by doing a simple search - so I bet this is gonna be moved!

1) high motion - use a lower value
low motion - use a higher value

do a search or read the cce manual to understand it better

2) dvd2svcd does the testfiles to calculate the CQ value to use. Just wait and you will see that it starts to encode the whole movie.

3) cce is better for SVCD, tmpg is better for VCD.

4) donīt know ;)
