MPG2 to DVD

Hi

Not sure if anyone can help.

I have encoded a DVD to a 4.5Gb MPG2 and I thought it would just be a simple case of transferring this to DVD the same as MPG1 to CD.
However Nero does not let you do this and wants a DVD to be written in the conventional way ie. Vob format.

Any ideas how I can get the MPG2 onto DVD so that it is readable in my DVD player.

First: http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvdr-guides.htm read a guide for DVD authoring.

Second, this forum is for SVCD/VCD which utilizes plain CD-Rs, if your using DVD-R you want the DVD Authoring forum.

I suggest you read /lurk for a while, use the search function and ,most important, read the guide for whatever program you choose before you post.
