thanks danni din for your great gui
there's been a strange bug around for several releases now,
whenever a wav is used as input, an azid command keeps appearing in the command line for no reason and you can't get rid of it
e.g.
"e:\sound\BeSweet.exe" -core( -input "d:\input.wav" -output "d:\output.ogg" -azid( -s stereo ) -ota( -d 0 -hybridgain ) -ogg( -q 0.200 ) -profile( ~~~~~ Default Profile ~~~~~ )
the errant azid command doesn't appear for the same operation if i use oggmachine's gui

I've noticed it too and was a little worried at first, but it doesn't seem to affect the encoding, so it seems more like a cosmetic bug.

Another bug:
When I use the "Normalise to" edit field with a value smaller than 100% - let's say, "95"%, your GUI includes that value using the international (LOCALE dependent) conversion function from float to string. That means, e.g. we in Germany usually use a decimal comma => "0,95", but BeSweet expects always the english numeric format, using a decimal point => "0.95". So BeSweet interpretes this as "0 , 95", ans normalises to "0", or "silence".

thanks DanniDin for your cool BeSweetGUI.:)
...but I think I found a little bug in(GUI 0.6 b 69/70), too.
I definied a profile, where the "A/V" in the OTA options is activated.
After saving the profile and after I load this profile, the "A/V" option is white(seems to be not activated) in the GUI but the commandline says "A/V" delay is active (like I defined it in the profile): -ota( -d 0........
Further,(when this profile is loaded) there's no difference in the commandline(A/V is always active), indipendent of activating or deactivating this "A/V" option in the GUI.
[edit: your link above for 0.6.b 71 is down:rolleyes:]

1. Please Post the Command Line You Use Because I Don't Have Any Problem With the Delay.
2. I Just Downloaded b71 With No Problem.

The link works but the file is corrupted (the server adds a javascript tag with spam at the file start, as seems it "thinks" it's a web page).
For the guys trying to download it, remove the first 378 bytes and it will work.

@DeXT
Thanks for the Tip But I Don't Get a Corrupted File.
The Best Way is to Always Check the Beta Section at http://dspguru.doom9.net/ ;)
@filewalker
How Can It Be That 'A/V is activated' and Your Command Line is
'-ota( -d 0 )' and Not '-ota( -d auto )' ?
A Profile With '-ota( -d 0 )' Will Activate 'Set Delay to' CheckBox and Type 0 in the TextBox.
Is There a Difference Between the Command Line and the Saved Profile?
When You Wrote: "like I defined it in the profile" Did You Mean You Manually Edited the Profile?

Well, apropos "new"...
You are constantly counting the betas up for months (maybe years?) now - how long might it take to finally decide one beta ready to be a new "version"? Yes, I know, not as long as we weekly find new "bugs"; but hopefully as soon as it will work perfectly with the next BeSweet "stable".

I Wanted to Release an Official 0.6 After Adjusting the Equalizer Form (Which is Hidden Right Now) But I Haven't Had Time to Work On It.
Does It Really Matter if It's 0.6b999 or 0.6.99.99 or Just Pure 0.6?
I Guess It'll Always Be a Beta Even If It Won't Have a b...
There Will Always Be Bugs That I'm Not Aware Of.
In Any Case I Won't Let the Count Continue After b99 :)

Hmmm...strange!
How Can It Be That 'A/V is activated' and Your Command Line is '-ota( -d 0 )' and Not '-ota( -d auto )' ? If I press the A/V button "-d 0" appears in the commandline....and not "-d auto".
A Profile With '-ota( -d 0 )' Will Activate 'Set Delay to' CheckBox and Type 0 in the TextBox.
Sorry to say but if I load my VOB-file as input and select a substream, the "Set Delay to' CheckBox" is greyed out...so I can't type anything there...only the A/V checkbox is white
When You Wrote: "like I defined it in the profile" Did You Mean You Manually Edited the Profile?
I made my individual settings in Azid,"AC3 &Ogg" and BeSweet. Then I wrote a name in the black box of "BeSweet Profiles(7) and saved it. Is There a Difference Between the Command Line and the Saved Profile? No,but the white A/V checkbox is empty, but "-d 0" is shown in the commandline.
Could it be that something is different because I loaded one great VOB file (Decrypted with DVDdecrypter: from stream info:
0x80 - Audio - AC3 / 6ch / 48kHz / DRC / Deutsch / LBA: 7 / PTS: 00:00:00.060 / Delay: 0ms)
I can show you another file with the same effect...look yourself:
Picture1 (http://www.geocities.com/filewalker666/Test1.JPG)(please copy&paste the link in a new fresh window)
shows the renamed(and adjusted) profile ,-d0 appears in the command line, although the"A/V" box is empty, and "Set Delay to' CheckBox" is greyed out
Picture2 (http://www.geocities.com/filewalker666/Test2.JPG)](please copy&paste the link in a new fresh window)
shows the loaded renamed( and adjusted)profile. After loading the profile
I activated the "A/V" button --> there isn't a " -d auto" but the "-d 0" in the commandline.
Picture3 (http://www.geocities.com/filewalker666/Test3.JPG)](please copy&paste the link in a new fresh window)
for the test that my profil isn't wrong I loaded one orginal profile "DSPguru_AC3_for_DolbyDigital-CD" and activated the "A/V" button in the GUI... and "-d 0" appears again in the command line.
Strange...I don't know what I make wrong.

I installed the GUI b70 again and suddenly the GUI works perfectly!
If I press "A/V" the commandline shows me "-d auto" and the "set delay to" box is also white if "A/V" is unchecked.

Are the Azid 1, Azid 2, SSRC, Boost... Buttons Look Faded Like in the Pics?
The Text Should Be Much Clearer and Darker.

Are the Azid 1, Azid 2, SSRC, Boost... Buttons Look Faded Like in the Pics? Yes, the buttons look always so faded as in my pics but if you go to DSPguru's homepage (http://dspguru.doom9.net/) and click at the screenshot about the BESweetGUI on the left side, there you'll also see that these buttons are faded like in my pics.
Good idea that "The Text Should Be Much Clearer and Darker".:)
Try Playing With the DVD2AVI CheckBox (OTA Frame) and See if It Gives You Trouble.
Now I downloaded the BeSweetGUI 0.60 b71...
I'm lucky:) I played around with these buttons and there aren't any troubles anymore! :)
If I load a VOB file as input:
the "set delay to" box and the"A/V" box are white.
the DVD2AVI box is greyed out --> (but in my opinion this is normal because I use a VOB file as input and not an AC3 stream which is normally demuxed with DVD2AVI)
If I select "Set delay to" the field is yellow and I can type in a number (my typed in numbers are equivalent to the commandline numbers)
If I select "A/V" the commandline shows me -d auto and the "Set delay to" box is greyed out.
If I load an AC3 stream which is demuxed with DVD2AVI:
the "A/V" is greyed out
the "set delay to" and the "DVD2AVI" boxes are white for typing in.
If I select "DVD2AVI" the dely value is equivalent to the delay value which is shown in the name of the demuxed AC3 file.
In conclusion, Your GUI works now like a charm! :)

Not Like a Charm Yet :)
If You:
1. Select a *.ac3 File as Input and Check DVD2AVI
2. Leave DVD2AVI Checked and Select a *.vob File as Input
You Get the Bug.

Hi,
I can also confirm frank's bug in GUI b72.
If I open an AC3 stream, which was demuxed with DVD2AVI, and push the DVD2AVI-button in the GUI,the commandline doesn't change ( the -d "number" isn't shown)
e.g. I push the DVD2AVI button in the GUI and the following cl appears:
"C:\Programme\DVDtoOGM\BeSweet.exe" -core( -input "h:\Divx\test\Versuch1 AC3 T01 3_2ch 448Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3" -output "h:\Divx\test\Versuch1 AC3 T01 3_2ch 448Kbps DELAY 0ms.ogg" -logfilea "C:\Programme\DVDtoOGM\BeSweet.log" ) -azid( -c normal -L -3db ) -ota( -hybridgain ) -ogg( -q 0.200 )
You see, the right command "-ota( -d 0 -hybridgain )" is missing.
Cu filewalker :)
DanniDin
23rd March 2003, 17:09
Hi :)
b72 Ignores a Delay of 0ms for the DVD2AVI Option.
"-d 0" Will Be Converted to ""
"-ota( -d 0 )" Will Be Converted to ""
"-ota( -d 0 -hybridgain )" Will Be Converted to "-ota( -hybridgain )"
Is it Wrong?
Danni.
filewalker
23rd March 2003, 19:55
 You are right!:)
Now I tested an AC3 stream with delay of 90 ms and all is fine...delay is displayed as -d 90.
So it's no bug, sorry for this wrong confirmation.
I thought it's a bug because GUI b71 displayed "-d 0" and GUI b72 doesn't display it anymore. So this change is without consequence...it's only for 0 ms delay and , of course, it doesn't need to be displayed in the commandline.
BTW1. Select a *.ac3 File as Input and Check DVD2AVI2. Leave DVD2AVI Checked and Select a *.vob File as Input This bug is away...Thanks for your bugfix.
Your GUI works great now!

Sorry Danni, the bug is there in v0.6b72.
If I open an AC3 stream, which was demuxed with DVD2AVI, and push the DVD2AVI-button in the GUI,the commandline doesn't change ( the -d "number" isn't shown)Test with negative value ...DELAY -80ms.ac3, and you'll get no delay.
