Phantom Menace help

Hi there,

I just stripped star wars phantom menace ep 1 from dvd .. and all went to plan as per normal but now the first part of the film plays the scrolling text and about 4 seconds of the film 4 times! once for english, french, german and italian ..

I figured out that even when I stripped out everything with IFOEDIT it appears it left the foreign language scrolling text (at beggining).. and I played the whole dvd file from my hard disk because I guessed it would ignore the other languages (scrolling text) but it doesn't ... it plays them one after another....

So anyway I figured that if I use vobedit I can extract cells etc ..sounds good .. so I tried it but get 153 extra vobs...

Ok .. so far so good.... now I need to delete the unwanted files from the 153 and then remux back in....

I am using powerdvd to display the 153 new vobs it extracted but it takes forever...

I wondered if anybody else has had to do a similar thing with phantom menace and if they are using something different..

its multi angle use ifoedit leave angle 1
thats english(you must do this with original ifo and vobs)

Is it possible to view the different angles so I can check in the future which language is which,????

Hello,

Decrypt in 'file mode' with DVD Decrypter.
But remember that in the 'settings' of DVD Decrypter you make sure that it retains angle 1 when ripping in file mode.
By default this is NOT ticked in DVD Decrypter !
After that, you can do anything you want with it !
