Vertical resolution for XSVCD

Would like to know what are the restrictions for setting the vertical resolution for XSVCD?

Since XSVCD is not a standard you are quite free in chosing your vertical resolution. So you can go up to 720*xxx if you have enough bitrate. And actually it depends only on your player if it will eat the disk.
Anyways I did always prefer keeping the SVCD specification to be as compatibel as possible.

Is there a minimum of lines...do they have to be multiples of say 16 or 8 or 4?
