When I produce in Pinnacle Studio8 a standard AVI file (DV Encoder), it will not be accepted by TMPGEnc 2.59. This AVI file plays well in the Windows Media Player-9. In an early version of TMPGEnc it was possible to use a DV Encoded AVI. What has been changed ?
I can produce an (TMPGEnc accepted) AVI (Indeo Video 5.1)file with Studio8 but that takes many many hours.

Any suggestion for a solution ?

I have found the solution myself to accept the unsupported DV Encoded AVI in one of the answers of a year ago:
TMPGEnc 2.59
Go to [Option]->[Environment setting]->[VFAPI plug-in],right click the "DirectShow Multimedia File Reader","higher prority"to 1.

It will work now ! !
