Anybody know where I can find and fix this problem? The subtitles are displayed briefly in 2 chapters at the end of the film even though the subtitle option is turned off. I ripped the main movie vob's only in NTSC full screen, VTS_11_1.VOB 11_2 and 11_3. I re-named them to VTS_01_1.VOB 01_2 01_3. Then I created IFO's with IFOEDIT 0.95, I edited the subtitle colors to match the original .ifo, saved it, stripped vob ID 2, then got VTS sectors and burned it. Everything works fine except for the problem with the subtitles coming on when they shouldn't. Anybody have a clue why?
Thanks.

I did Stuart Little 2 also with IFO Edit. What I did was load the ifo file to the main movie and select vob extras. In the options I checked everything but remux, rebuild PTS, and the split to 2 DVDR's options. Also in the vob expert options I left everything checked but llvu angle point. Select your destination directory and hit okay. After that you will get a screen on which audio languages to keep and which subtitles to keep. After that press strip it and select which vob id's you want to keep. This will take some time to go through but when it's done, IFO Edit will have created your ifo and vob files. Don't forget to run a get vts sectors before burning. When starting to play in my player the subs come on automatically but after I turn them off I didn't see them come on through the rest of the movie. I hope this helps a little bit.

There is an error in IfoEdit SetSTN command subtitle options. "OFF" turns out to be "Forced", you have to change that using the hex editor. Look toward the end of http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35660

Thanks, I will check it out. But I think the problem is with this DVD having some special interactive features that are in subtitle stream 0. I played the 1st ripped VOB in file mode on power dvd and the subtitles appeared again even though they are off.
I replayed the original DVD making sure all subs and special features were turned off, ripped it again and its okay now. It must have somehow retained the playback of the subtitles when previously viewed. ????
