Hi,
first I guess the downloaded files are DTS-WAVE files. That means you have to burn them on a CD in order to listen to them. AFAIK WinDVD cannot play such files from harddisk. Second you have to choose Analog output and then which number of speakers you ever have. Start WinDVD and then insert the CD into your drive. Playback should start then. However there may be problems depending on your hardware like mother board and connection of your CD-ROM/DVD-ROM to your mobo.

@tiki4..
s ur right... those are wav files!!!! when played in windvd/powerdvd i here noise.
I did a small test, extracted a ac3 to 6 wav channels, used surcode dtd dvd pro to convert to dts, saved the file(surcode DTS dvd pro) as .dts extention, i was able to play this file in powerdvd, but not in windvd. the other extensions like .wav and .cpt were not played either in wiwndvd/powerdvd...
@dspguru..
any idea why .dts is palyed in powerdvd?????

@cj
you need to "fix" the streams with BeSplit (http://dspguru.doom9.org/beta.html), just like it says in the faq.

@dspguru is that also somehow possible if the file is already in bin/cue type?

i know, but i still donīt have a wave to feed into besplit
i donīt think just rippign will work because most ripping tools change the volume and so will destroy the dd/dts information
so is tehre any ripper that rips exactly bit per bit without normalizing or other changes?
[sorry if this ends up in threadhitchhiking]
