Conversion Tool from DivX3/4 to MPEG4 ISO, both based on Windows and Linux - paid job

Well, these players are of course a quite intersting thing, but my interest in that tool was more an compatibility aspect. More and more players and thingies play MPEG4 (and hopefully one day also MP4) content. It would be quite interesting to get old DivX 3.11 movies into MP4 container and play them as any other ISO-MPEG4 stream. I'm thinking of streaming and other purposes.

hehe, i now stumbled over this nice old thread and imagined how nice it would be if i could convert all my good old divx3.11 babies in nice new 100% spec compliant .mp4 files :D

jokes aside, anyone ever felt the need for writing such a tool again?
but beaware this tool already made some people vanish ;)
