Is it just me or does the new GKnot rock! Where I got 8~10fps in VDub with earlier releases of GKnot, I now get 13~15fps! That's a hefty increase and is well appreciated. This is more due to the updated version of VDub and maybe upgraded filters, I imagine.
Are other users seeing similar results? Hope so...
That's it. Just a feel good post from a happy user. :D

depends on the processor you have. the new vdub has been specially optimized. i for myself haven't experienced too much of a spped gain. although i have a PIV and the PIV optimized version of Vdub
still it hasn't gotten slower either but no such significant speed gain.
good for you though!

Well, even better here :)
My average speed went from 12fps up to 24fps.
Couldn't believe my eyes!

It just depends on the filters you use. My speed went from 16fps to ~10fps, but I always use IVTC, and Sharpen Filters

Hi Hiro
I did it with the same settings I normaly use;
I use Lanczosresize, without any filters.
So in my case I think I can say there is 100% gain, de quality is as good as ever. :)

I know, that simply amazing. But I am doing anime right now and I've used the same setting i always did with manual IVTC and Blend Fields and Convolution3d preset=AnimeHQ. Thats alot of really slow filters and I noticed a drop in framerate from the previous gknot from ~12 to ~11

I see you have a LiteOn 32x10x40 CD-burner, ever tried to burn 100 minutes CDs with it?
I bought 100 minutes recordables but my Plextor 12/10/32 only does burn up to 87 minutes :(

I have never seen the 100min CDR's at retail stores in my city. Sorry :( and I don't feel like paying more than I already do for 100CDR spindles

I also agree that the new version of Gknot 0.27 seems to encode faster.. i have an AMD XP 1.4Ghz with 1GB of DDR PC2100 memory.. and was encoding before around 23fps.. i did a rip the other day and i was amazed that the new rates are up around 30fps.. REAL TIME...
Props to the Gknot gurus...great progy..

I just ran a test with GK 27 using VD13std and VD13P4, and the results came in as follows (Matrix)-
VD13(std) 4h 10m 20s
VD13(P4) 4h 10m 10s
