I am trying to author an original material DVD (not rip) and I need a big help.
Can anybody give hints or a sample script of how to accomplish this:
That's what should happen
1- go to FBI like warning.
2- go to an animated main menu with 3 options. The menu starts as a video and end as a still menu.
3- Each menu has a transition to the other menu
4- Each menu has a transition to nothing (black)
5- Each menu has a transition from nothing (black)
6- Option 1 - Play video all
Option 2- Audio Setup
Option 3- Chapter Selection
7- If Option 1 selected:
Plays menu transition to nothing
Plays short trailer
Play movie
8- If Option 2 selected:
Plays main menu transition to Audio setup
Audio menu has 3 options: Original Soundtrack, Parents Commentary, go back
9- If Option 3 selected:
Plays main menu transition to Chapters Selection
Chapters menu has several options and go back.
That's too complicated, right.
Well, let's see if I can easy things up.
Where should I place menus? Menus exclusive VTS? Video Manager?
If I choose VTS, I can set each PGC as auido menu, root menu and PPT menu. But If I choose the Video Manager, I can't do that. On the other hand, how can I link each chapter button to the video VTS? Through a dummy PGC? But then do I have to create a title for each chapter? Should I place the main video and the menus on the same VTS?
As you can see, I am pretty messed up!
I posted a screenshot for you to see what I've done so far.
