View Full Version : Besweet mishandles broken streams

Hello,

every time I try to encode an mp2 file (from a DVB capture) which has CRC errors the target file is shorter (in length) than the original.

This creates a lot of sync problems.

Is it possible to instruct Besweet to insert silence in these cases, rather than creating an incorrect timeline?

Thanks,

Nico

i need to think about it.

in fact, i once implemented a BeSplit switch '-fixcrc' that will fix crc errors in audio streams. i guess you could fix your stream before feeding it to BeSweet.

ps,
i doubt that BeSplit's public releases had this switch, but you could try..
