I have still problems with the bitrate, if i use from 0 to 127 minutes and 2 cd,s of 800 Mb dvd2svcd code,s 0.7 mb sec, and this is not good, it has to be 1.620 mb sec with audio bitrate 67khz, if i use 0 to 63 and 1 disc, then from 63 to 127 and use disk 2 i get the high bitrate like 2230 kb sec.

I fill in like sthis

0 to 50 disk 1 800 mb
50 to 100 disk 2 800 mb
100 to 150 disk 3 800 mb
etc etc.

then the bitrate is to high.

then like this

one movie 127 minutes long,

I fill in

0 to 127 minutes, two disks 800 mb.
127 to etc etc

that i has to use for good working, with the old version i use like the first one, and it always working.

Hello!

I´m sorry. I have read your post a few times, and I really don´t get the clue what you want to know. Could you please describe your problem a bit clearer?
dvd2svcd code,s 0.7 mb sec, and this is not good
Do you mean CCE speed with "0.7 mb sec"?
it has to be 1.620 mb sec with audio bitrate 67khz
quite confusing, since khz dont mean a bitrate and i have never heard of an audiofile with a sample frequency of 67 kHz.
then the bitrate is to high.
You can define your max bitrate and max average bitrate under the bitrate tab
that i has to use for good working
What do you mean with good working? What went wrong?

Ooww sorry i mean 96 khz bitrate because of a 127 minute movie i want to burn on 2 cd, i get 3 cd al the time, i have intall verion 1.0.0 beta of dvd2svcd and now i have no problem, it encodes the calculated bitrate.

ok, just to clarify: kHz (kilo Hertz) means not the bitrate, but the sample frequency of your audio file. The bitrate is measured by kbps (kilo bits per second).

I try to explane

I want to burn a 120 minutes movie on 2 cd,s of 800 mb, I use the 897 mb option to fill this in, (maybe because i fill in 897 mb and no 800 mb can be the problem??? i try it)

this gives me 3 cd,s and i want 2 cd,s.

i have tryed to fill in the whole movie 0 to 120 and 2 cd,s 897 mb
did,nt work after that i fill in 0 to 60 and one cd and 60 to 120 for the second cd. i also try to raise the 120 to 125 but no succes it stil makes 3 cd,s and to high bitrate.

with the old version i have never problems, i mean the 1.0.0 beta version.

how i have to fill in the bitrate tab explane it maybe i do something wrong let me now how you do this then ik can compare it.

greetings my friend.

I think, i understand you now.
Do you still have the logfile of one of the faulty encodes? I´m quite sure, this would help.

just guesses:

Under the bitrate tab try setting _all_ CD sizes to 800 and _all_ number of CDs to 2.
If this doesn´t work try to calculate the bitrate yourself and set the max average bitrate to your calculated bitrate.

If you have the <Min avg> box checked in the bitrate tab, uncheck it.

Also check the movie length IS less than 2 hours because the log entries when CCE starts up say it's set for 3 x 80min cd's
