I'm trying to reencode Oceans Eleven. After I strip out everything in ifoedit, I save in dvd2avi. I get the d2v file and ac3 file fine. But, maestro says my ac3 is 1:56:26.21, whereas my video says 1:56:33.15. Ifoedit says the movie is same length as audio, not the video. dvd2avi says it is FILM99%, so I do a force frame to 23.976. It also says it's progressive. I don't know if this is where the problem is. I thought I have seen something about certain movies require me to use IVTC in avisynth instead of dvd2avi. I am familiar with avisynth, but only have the very basic setting for dvd movies. Can someone tell me if this is what I need to do for this movie and where to find guides to tell me how. Or if someone could just tell me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Ya the video and audio length usually very - you dont have to worry about it. DVD2Avi says its Film99% then yes you need to Force Film.
-then use a transcoder of choice to make the .m2v smaller
-use pulldown.exe
-import both ac2 and .m2v files into a DVD Authoring program of choice then enjoy :D
